Video: Suriya kneels down before his fans as he promotes Kanguva in Kochi

Tamil superstar Suriya knelt down in front of his fans as he promoted his upcoming film, in Kochi’s Lulu Mall. The event took place on November 5 and hundreds of fans turned up at the mall to catch a glimpse of Suriya. The actor was awestruck to see the turnout of people on a weekday and expressed his love for them by kneeling down and thanking them for their love and continued support.
He also asked the fans to be careful and not lean on the glass railings inside the mall. Suriya emphasised the need for safety and how everyone should be happy at the end of the event. He said that it was his and Lulu Mall’s management’s wish as well.
Suriya explained, “I studied logic in my school. I remember a line from school – Love is God. This is love [pointing at his fans] and you’re all mine.” He then knelt down and thanked his fans. He added, “It means a lot to me to see all of you gather on a Tuesday evening seeing a small announcement. For everyone, time is valuable, and thank you so much for being here.”
Here’s the video:

Suriya addressed the crowd for nearly 15 minutes. In his speech, he spoke about the storyline of Kanguva and how they hope to impress everyone with a never-seen-before attempt from Tamil cinema on November 14.
The Jai Bhim actor also mentioned Dulquer Salmaan’s Lucky Baskhar and called him his brother. He urged everyone to watch Lucky Baskhar and Kanguva in theatres.
Suriya embarked on a state-wide tour to promote Kanguva in different languages. He has wrapped up Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Kochi events and is expected to visit more cities in the coming days. Directed by Siva, Kanguva will release in theatres on November 14.
